What Would You Do Differently on Your Wedding Day?

Some days have a different kind of importance in our life. The day that tops the chart is our wedding day. Most people claim that it was the happiest day of their lives and they would not want to change a thing about it with or without the error. Maybe they are the people who have had perfect weddings. But some of us; in hindsight; have so many things which could be done differently on that special day.

On actual days before the wedding being the bride or groom we are so busy with our own preparation that we tend to overlook the actual wedding day preparation. We tend to assign tasks to other family members and friends which you feel might not matter so much. But in the end what we tend to overlook could be the things which we end up not liking. Though they are not absolute disasters and not something you couldn't live with but definitely if you get a chance you would want them to be done differently.

Listed below are the few common things which most of us would have wanted to be differently on the actual day.

The guest list - We always find the guest list either too long or realize we missed inviting someone important. And there is nothing you can do about it after the D day has passed.Something about your look - Be a groom or a bride, you always would want to look better than you actually did. Maybe the hair or the make up, if you had a chance you would definitely want a little change in that department. Well better looks never hurt any one.Budget - I have friends who complained about how much they actually spent on their wedding party. They feel rather than the extravagance if they had given a quaint little home party and used the money for a better honeymoon in a better exotic location it would be something they would have always remembered.The vows - I know most of us practice a lot for their vows but we tend to get emotional and not say it the way we would want to do it, for others true love happens after marriage and they wish they had said so much more than what they actually did. So some people also wish they had said so much more than what they actually did.The wedding dance - I have a male friend who over did with the drinking on his own wedding night and did the craziest chicken dance. He also to a certain extent ended up embarrassing the bride and her family. He still wishes he had gone slow with the tequila shots and been more attentive towards the guests and the bride. He still cringes when he sees the wedding video.

All these things may not be that big and you could live with these. What really matters is you had a successful marriage. A wedding is after all a party but the real deal is the marriage. If that's a success you can throw several other parties and make up for the mistakes you have made in that one day.
